Lili Reinhart Lives Two Lives in New Movie Titled Look Both Ways
Riverdale star Lili Reinhart is moving on from the teen drama and forging her career path with the new movie Look Both Ways.
During her time on Riverdale, Lili Reinhart also starred in The Kings of Summer, Chemical Hearts, and Hustlers. She has played supporting characters in many other smaller films, often focusing on the romance and drama genres.
At the age of 25, Reinhart has more than 10 films under her belt.
What is Look Both Ways about?
The movie focuses on Natalie, a woman who is about to graduate college. Her life forks into two different paths all based off of a major life milestone. On one hand, she ends up pregnant after hooking up with one of her close friends. Natalie moves back to her hometown in Texas to raise the child. This was not how she had planned for things to go, but we will get to see that path unfold.
On the other side of things, Natalie graduates and moves to Los Angeles after finding out she wasn’t pregnant. She gets to pursue her dream career, but there are advantages and disadvantages to the lifestyle she has chosen.
One of the main themes is that a woman can become a mother, or she can dominate a career, and they can both be fulfilling and considered a life lived in success. The director, Wanuri Kahiu, wanted to highlight two separate stories about women striving for excellence and searching for happiness.
Who else stars in Look Both Ways?
Andrea Savage, known for Veep and I’m Sorry, will be a supporting character. Luke Wilson is also set to join the film. Wilson is known for Old School and Vacancy, both movies from the 2000’s. Nia Long, Danny Ramirez, and David Corenswet will also be in the film.
