Love Is In The Air: Ben Affleck Gushes About Jennifer Lopez At The Premiere Of His Latest Movie, Air
Ben Affleck could not seem to help but shower his ladylove Jennifer Lopez with praise and affection at the premiere of his latest film, Air. Affleck said that he wishes to enjoy the present moment and revel in the joy of getting back together with Lopez.
He further emphasized that the singer-actor meant the world to him. He also listed out a few adjectives to drive his point home, saying that JLo is fabulous, amazing, wonderful, good, kind, and magnificent.
The couple, affectionately referred to as “Bennifer by their fans”, proved to be a delightful sight on the red carpet. Lopez donned a beautiful neon green gown with an embellished mesh top, while Affleck looked classy in a black and blue suit.
Indeed a visual treat to behold, they looked like a dreamy couple straight out of a storybook, indulging in a little PDA. Lopez even shared some sneak peeks into the behind-the-scenes of the premiere on her Instagram.
JLo and Affleck were the “It couple” in the early 2000s. Unfortunately, it was not meant to last the first time around, and they called the wedding off in early 2004. Lopez then married Marc Antony later in the same year, and Affleck settled down with Jennifer Garner. They even went on to have children with their respective partners, who they stayed with for around a decade each!
But fate works in mysterious ways and, post her split with Alex Rodriguez, JLo was spotted spending time with Affleck in April 2021. They also traveled to Montana together in May, after which they continued to keep in touch and rekindled their romance.
A year after this, Lopez announced their engagement. Ben collaborated with his future mother-in-law to give JLo the proposal of her dreams around November 2002. The proposal included a heartfelt love letter and had JLo crying happy tears.
The couple tied the knot in a secret, intimate ceremony in July 2022. Their Las Vegas wedding occurred nearly two decades after their first engagement and had Bennifer fans rejoicing in a frenzy.
Affleck’s being so open about his feelings for JLo may have had fans gushing over them, but the two have always been fairly expressive about their relationship. They rarely hold back on praising and appreciating each other, right from the beginning.
Lopez said that she thought Affleck was brilliantly smart, loving, charming, and affectionate in the early days of their relationship. She then went on to say that she admires and respects him a lot.
Over the course of their relationship, even after their first split, Affleck has always sung praises of JLo, and she, too, has returned the sentiments. Most recently, she stated that their romance was a beautiful love story and a lesson for her kids that real love does indeed exist. According to Lopez, their recent wedding wasn’t fancy, but she thought it was the most romantic thing ever.
With Affleck making Lopez cry happy tears once again, it’s safe to say that the wonderful words he said at the “Air” premiere are only a small sneak peek into their beautiful relationship. In the words of Lopez, they are two very lucky people who got a second chance at true love.
