Ryan Reynolds Reveals Hilarious Moment Of Daughter Inez On “Deadpool & Wolverine” Set
Ryan Reynolds is once again proving that family is at the heart of everything he does, including his latest blockbuster, Deadpool & Wolverine. The 47-year-old actor recently took to Instagram to share a funny behind-the-scenes story involving his daughter Inez, 7, who made a memorable cameo in the film as Kidpool.
In a playful Instagram post, Ryan joked about his daughter’s role, saying, “Most people think Kidpool is the dirtiest. But she’s also pretty good at backtalk and never taking out the trash. #DeadpoolAndWolverine.”
Alongside the caption, a photo of Ryan and Inez in matching Deadpool costumes captured their adorable on-set moments.
But Inez wasn’t the only Reynolds family member involved in the film. The family affair extended to their other children as well. Baby Olin, born in February 2023, made his debut as Babypool, while James, 9, took on the role of a Screaming Mutant. Even 4-year-old Betty had a part behind the scenes as the “Hugh Jackman Wrangler,” though her exact duties remain a mystery. Ryan revealed at the film’s premiere that Betty is a huge fan of Hugh Jackman, expressing her admiration with what he humorously described as “unblinking violence.”
“My 4-year-old Betty sort of loves Hugh, like unconditionally. And she expresses that love through unblinking violence. So she attacks him, thinking she has claws and he has a healing factor — which he might,” he told PEOPLE last month during the film’s world premiere.
Ryan’s wife, Blake Lively, also got in on the action, playing Lady Deadpool. This role was inspired by her portrayal on Gossip Girl and conceived by Deadpool comic book creator Rob Liefeld in 2010.
In a recent chat with E! News, Ryan hinted at expanding their family further, saying, “The more the merrier. As many as possible. As many little heartbeats as possible, just running around, wrecking stuff in the house. I love it. Let’s have more!”
