Southern Charm Returning For Its 10th Season
For a decade, Southern Charm has taken Bravo fans on a journey through the highs and lows of Charleston life — think glamorous garden parties, scenic boat outings, and Patricia Altschul’s iconic Gentleman’s Dinner. Now, as the show enters its 10th season, the stakes have never been higher, with cast shakeups, fiery confrontations, and exciting new faces.
Returning to the cast are Patricia, Venita Aspen, Leva Bonaparte, Craig Conover, Taylor Ann Green, Austen Kroll, Madison LeCroy, Rodrigo Reyes, Shep Rose, Whitney Sudler-Smith, and Jarrett “JT” Thomas. However, Jarrett’’s resignation from the show adds an intriguing twist. Fans will see him addressing his explosive fight with Austen, 37, during the Season 9 finale and their heated reunion that followed.
For Austen and Craig, 35, this season brings the challenge of navigating their friendship with Rose, 45, who blacked out at BravoCon 2023.
“I’m definitely glad where we ended and where Shep’s headspace was at for these opening talks together that you see in episode 1. [They’re] talks I’ve been wanting to have for ages, but maybe have been waiting for the right moment to have because men, we so want to just swoop it under the rug and we’re all good and let’s keep on moving. And that’s not always the best,” Austen stated.
Romantic relationships also take center stage. Shep introduces his new girlfriend, Sienna, but not everyone is convinced of her intentions. In the Season 10 trailer, Patricia doesn’t hold back, calling Sienna a “stalker.” Meanwhile, Austen, Taylor Ann, and other cast members find themselves exploring new relationships of their own.
Adding to the drama are three newcomers: Ryan Albert, Molly O’Connell, and Salley Carson.
Ryan, who has strong friendships with the cast, felt the timing was finally right to join the show. “My friends on the cast had brought it up before to me and kind of floated it out there the past few years, and it just never felt right. But where things were at home and with my family — I’ve been married a few years now — and where things were with my friendships with the cast, it just felt right this time when they came to me,” Ryan stated.
Molly, a former model who had a flirtation with Craig in the past, shares a similar sentiment. “Having been friends with everybody on the cast for so long, going to a few of the events on film before in years past, it just made sense. I think it also helped being single and being free to do whatever I want. I’m trying to figure out what I’m doing with my life, so it was good timing and fun to be a part of what my friends been doing for so long,” she stated.
Salley, 30, steps into the Southern Charm world after appearing on Southern Hospitality and The Bachelor. Her journey to self-confidence plays a key role in her story this season. “I’m in a completely different place now than when I was on The Bachelor,” she shared, adding, “I was in a really toxic relationship with my ex-fiancé. I was scared to talk about my life because I wasn’t confident at all. I was really sad and depressed. I was very insecure. And then I went to therapy and got out of that relationship and I feel like I truly am the strongest that I’ve ever been. I want to share my life with people because I love my life and it doesn’t really matter what outsiders think at all.”
