The Cast Of Season 31 Dancing With The Stars Announced
The celebrity cast of Dancing with the Stars Season 31 has been announced. And it will be an exciting and fresh season with new faces on the team, with several people rumored to be associated with the dance competition joining the gang.
The announcement was made on Good Morning America with some cast members present in the studio and representing the upcoming season. And one of the easily recognizable standouts is Teresa Giudice, the 50-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star who recently married Luis Ruelas. Teresa and her new husband grabbed headlines several weeks ago for their amorous display of affection during their European honeymoon.
The Bravo beauty will dance with Pasha Pashkov. Wayne Brady, an actor and comedian, was also included on the roster and will partner with professional Witney Carson.
One of the most familiar names joining Season 31 is Selma Blair. She is best known for playing Cecile Caldwell in Cruel Intentions alongside real-life friend Sarah Michelle Gellar. Selma has been open about having multiple sclerosis and was, at one point, even using a cane to get by. Blair will be dancing with Sasha Farber.
Part of this fresh batch is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son, actor and real estate agent, Joseph Baena. He will take the floor with Daniella Karagach.
And then there’s Coda star Daniel Durant, who will be sashaying and claiming the dance floor with partner Britt Stewart. Jessie James Decker, who has three children with former football player Eric Decker is also set to mellow down on the country tunes for now and shimmy with partner Alan Bersten. Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino also joins the cast and will hopefully dance the nights away with partner Koko Iwasaki.
Singer Jordin Sparks will take a break from music and instead wear her dancing shoes to groove with Brandon Armstrong, while Bachelorette star Gabby Windey will also cha-cha and boogie with pro Val Chmerkovskiy. Also on the list is 43-years old TV actor Trevor Donovan, who has been in the long-running TV series 90210 and NCIS. He will be dancing with Emma Slater.
A familiar face is welcome, so Cheryl Ladd of Charlie’s Angels fame is joining the show. The blonde beauty will be dancing with Louis van Amstel. Meanwhile, Sex and the City actor Jason Lewis will work it with Peta Murgatroyd, and drag queen, Shangela will be twirling with Gleb Savchenko.
And for the first time in Dancing with the Stars history, a mother-daughter pair will compete. TikTok star Charli D’Amelio will shake a leg with Mark Ballas while her mom Heidi will bop with Arten Chigvintsev.
The hosts for Season 31 are Alfonso Ribiero and Tyra Banks. Alfonso is excited to host the hit dance competition after being a contestant in 2014. He stated, “For me to be asked now to co-host with Tyra, and be part of the great crew and dancers and friends… to be able to be on stage with them and to be part of the family again, is quite special for me. I mean, these dancers are friends of mine at this point now. We do all hang out together.”
Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Derek Hough, and Carrie Ann Inaba will return as judges for the upcoming season.
