Tom Brady and Irina Shayk Have an Amicable Breakup
Yet another Hollywood couple bites the dust. This time, it’s NFL superstar Tom Brady and supermodel Irina Shayk.
Tom’s brief relationship with Irina was his first after his divorce from his wife of 13 years Gisele Bundchen. News of a budding romance between Tom and Irina started circulating when the two were spotted closely together at several parties. Although they attempted to keep their romance low-key, the public still caught a whiff of it.
Last September, the two were seen arriving after each other at Tom’s Tribeca apartment. Irina went to the NFL legend’s abode after she attended the Michael Kors New York Fashion Week presentation.
However, according to TMZ Sports, the 46-year-old Brady is no longer dating the model. The decision to call it quits appears to be mutual and amicable. They now seem to be working in different cities, leading separate lives. Tom was relaxing in Miami on his yacht while Irina was back in New York.
According to a Geo News source, “Irina was very attracted to Tom. She liked dating him. It excited her. They had fun traveling to see each other. In the end, it kind of just fizzled. They both keep having obligations, and it was getting more difficult to be in the same city at the same time.”
The same source reassured the publication that there has been “no drama” between them and the supermodel “has nothing but great things to say about Tom.”
Recall that Irina also dated soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and actor Bradley Cooper before dating Tom. The model shares a six-year-old daughter with Bradley.
Last month, there were rumors of a possible reconciliation between Irina and Bradley after he posted a photo of the model on his social media profile. Apparently, those were just rumors because Bradley is enjoying a budding romance with Gigi Hadid.
Tom, on the other hand, is enjoying retirement as a single man. The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback shared the drama he went through the last few years.
While talking to Let’s Go! Podcast Tom shared, “We should all have self-awareness; it’s a hard trait to have. We’re in a culture where it’s hard to own up to things these days. For someone like me, I’m in the public eye a lot. I always try to say the right thing. I don’t want to deal with any more drama in my life. I already have a lot of drama.”
Tom’s ex-wife, Gisele, is embracing being a single mom while returning to the modeling and fashion industry. After the divorce, Gisele has been rumored to be dating Joaquim Valente, her Jiu-Jitsu instructor, but until now, the two have both denied the relationship.
She was also romantically linked with a friend of her ex-husband, billionaire hotel magnate Jeffrey Soffer who, coincidentally, is the ex-husband of model Elle Macpherson.
According to sources, Gisele and Jeffrey have been friends for years. Earlier this year, the two were spotted in Miami with 10-year-old Vivian, Gisele and Tom’s daughter. Until now, Gisele has kept quiet on the status of her love life, and people can only speculate.
