UK Comedian Tony Knight Dies In Tragic Accident At French Festival
Tony Knight, a cherished comedian from the UK, has tragically passed away at the age of 54 following a horrific accident involving a falling tree branch. The accident occurred on June 7th during the Rock&Cars festival in Lavaur, France, where Tony was spending time with his friend Pascall.
According to a GoFundMe page set up by a family member, Tony was struck by a large tree branch while attending the festival. Despite the fair weather and absence of wind or storm, two branches fell from a large tree, tragically taking his life and injuring four other festival goers.
The accident happened around 6 p.m., with many witnesses recounting the sound of the branches cracking followed by screams and the swift arrival of help. Shockingly, several attendees reported that they had been sitting at the site of the accident just minutes before.
As reported by a French media outlet, “Many witnesses present at 6 p.m. recount the sound of the branches cracking and the screams and then the arrival of help. Many say they were shocked to have witnessed this scene and some explain that they had been sitting at the site of the accident a few minutes before.”

Known for his great passion for dogs and helping people, Tony was not just a comedian but also a dedicated dog trainer, assisting dogs with problem behavior. His talent extended to radio and television, where he frequently appeared to share his expertise and humor.
