Taylor Swift Celebrates Miami Fans As Eras Tour Nears Its Final Stops
Taylor Swift isn’t quite ready to say goodbye to her record-breaking Eras Tour. The pop sensation recently wrapped up three electrifying nights at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on October 20, and celebrated the experience with an emotional Instagram post on October 22.
“The Eras Tour is BACK, and the 3 Miami crowds we just got to play for were on a new level,” Taylor wrote.
With just five cities left before the tour comes to an end, she reflected on how special these moments are: “I knew I was going to be savoring every moment up on that stage, but the bewildering passion of those crowds really blew my mind.”
The Miami shows were nothing short of epic, and Taylor even credited the heavy rain on nights one and three for adding to the drama of her already cinematic performances. The shows marked her return to the stage after a two-month break from touring, and it’s clear she missed the energy of her fans.
“I had really missed this on our break. The mass quantities of joyful people genuinely living in the moment and seeming truly carefree for 3.5 hours,” she wrote.
Fans were treated to a special duet with Florence Welch, as the two performed the song Florida!!! from Taylor’s latest album The Tortured Poets Department across all three nights. “My mystifyingly talented friend @florence came to Miami, and each night we performed ‘Florida!!!’ in Florida!!!” Taylor added with her signature humor.
She also debuted new outfits, including a fresh Reputation-era jumpsuit and some updated dresses for her surprise songs, much to the delight of the crowd. I got some new outfits, and it’s always nice when the crowd notices that 😁,” she wrote further.
Miami wasn’t just about Taylor, though — her fans weren’t the only notable faces in the audience. Among the star-studded attendees were Tom Brady, Serena Williams, and several Today Show hosts, including Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager, and Savannah Guthrie. Though her boyfriend Travis Kelce couldn’t make it, his family showed up in full support. Travis’s mom Donna Kelce attended her first Eras Tour show on October 18, and his brother Jason Kelce, along with wife Kylie and their two daughters, Wyatt and Elliotte, joined in on the fun as well.
Looking ahead, Taylor is set to perform at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans this weekend, followed by shows in Indianapolis in November and six dates in Toronto. The Eras Tour will finally wrap in Vancouver on December 8, after nearly two years of thrilling fans across Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America.
During her recent break from the tour, Taylor has been busy cheering on her football star boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at Kansas City Chiefs games and was spotted out and about in New York City, including at a Yankees playoff game. Even with her personal life making headlines, it’s clear that Taylor’s focus is on giving her fans an unforgettable farewell to the Eras Tour.
As she closed her Instagram post, Taylor left fans with a promise: “You guys are just the best. Thank you to everyone who came and everyone who followed along online.”
