Sam Hunt Is Ready For Baby Number Three!
Country star Sam Hunt is preparing for another round of diapers and late-night lullabies! The 39-year-old singer recently revealed on the Katie & Company podcast that he and his wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, are expecting their third child in May. “It’s about to get real,” Sam joked.
“I’m elated, can’t wait!” he added.
Their growing family already includes two adorable little ones: daughter Lucy Louise, 2½, and baby son Lowry Lee, who just turned one in October. While Lucy might not fully grasp the concept of a new sibling, she’s already claiming the spotlight.
As the singer shared with a laugh: “We talk about. I say, Mama has a baby on the way and we’ll point to her belly and she says, ‘No, I have a baby on the way.’”
Sam and Hannah have made a sweet tradition of choosing meaningful names for their children. Lowry is Sam’s middle name, while Lee honors Hannah’s family. With baby number three on the way, fans are eager to see how they’ll keep up this sentimental streak.
The exciting news comes just a year after Sam announced the arrival of Lowry with a heartfelt Instagram post of his family of four, captioned simply, “Thank You Lord.” Back in 2022, the proud dad had first shared the joy of fatherhood during his Stars for Second Harvest charity concert in Nashville, describing it as a transformative experience. “[Fatherhood] has given me such a sense of purpose — at home and out on the road. A new appreciation for life in general. I think I leveled up overnight, evolved 10 or 20 years overnight,” he said.
As much as Sam loves performing, he’s making family time a priority. “I’m hopefully — in the next couple of years — going to take a break from touring,” he revealed.
“The crowds have been so great and I want to get out there and tour while my kids are really young and they’re able to come with me…and while people are interested in coming to see us because I don’t want to take that for granted,” the Hard To Forget singer added.
