Alleged Rape Lawsuit Against Sean “Diddy” Combs Takes New Turn As Accuser Files Amended Complaint
In a recent development, Liza Gardner, the woman who accused Sean “Diddy” Combs and his friend Aaron Hall of rape, has filed an amended complaint shedding light on the alleged assault. According to Liza’s updated complaint filed in New York County Supreme Court, she was merely 16 years old at the time of the incident, making her a minor.
Liza alleges that the assault took place in 1990, during which she claims she was physically forced into sexual intercourse by Diddy. The amended complaint highlights that Liza, being underage, was incapable of consenting to the consumption of alcohol allegedly provided by the defendants. She vividly describes the traumatic experience, stating that she felt the effects of alcohol before Diddy allegedly engaged in sexual activity with her forcibly.
As written in the complaint, “At the time Combs assaulted Ms. Gardner, she recalls feeling the side effects of the alcohol. She recalls Combs mounting her, and forcing up her skirt, pulling her underwear to the side and forcefully penetrating her.”
Furthermore, the complaint implicates Aaron Hall, alleging that he entered the room afterward and also forced Liza into sexual intercourse. It doesn’t end there; Liza asserts that Diddy, in a separate incident, turned violent and physically assaulted her, leaving her unconscious.
Liza’s amended complaint includes additional evidence, such as testimonies from friends and therapists, further strengthening her case. It paints a picture of a woman whose life has been profoundly affected by the alleged assault, leading to long-term emotional distress and strained relationships.
According to her, her life has been “overwhelmed by depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and strained relationships with men” since the incident.
These allegations have stirred significant controversy, with Diddy vehemently denying any wrongdoing. A spokesperson for him dismissed the claims as fabricated and motivated by financial gain. They argue that such accusations, made decades later, lack credibility and exploit legal loopholes.
In the spokesperson’s words, “These are fabricated claims falsely alleging misconduct from over 30 years ago and filed at the last minute. This is nothing but a money grab. Because of Mr. Combs’ fame and success, he is an easy target for anonymous accusers who lie without conscience or consequence for financial benefit. The New York Legislature surely did not intend or expect the Adult Survivors Act to be exploited by scammers. The public should be skeptical and not rush to accept these bogus allegations.”
This latest legal development compounds Combs’ legal troubles, as he faces multiple sexual assault lawsuits. Despite his denials, the allegations continue to mount, tarnishing his reputation and legacy.
