Craig Conover Says Dating Apps Aren’t For Him — Here’s How He Hopes To Meet His Next Love

Craig is stepping into single life, but don’t expect to find him on a dating app. After three years with Paige DeSorbo, the Southern Charm star is officially back on the market, and he’s figuring out what dating looks like now.
At a Galentine’s Day event in Atlantic City, Craig admitted that downloading Raya was his first real sign that he was single again. “I don’t think a dating app is for me,” he confessed. “I think I’m gonna meet someone in a bar or just in life.”
Though he’s open to love, Craig isn’t in a rush. “So I’ve never been single as this person, and I’m just trying to take my time and see what that feels like.”
Still, the idea of starting over is a little scary. “I think you just have to keep a positive state of mind and believe in whatever you believe in, you know, the universe or God or whatever it is. And I’m excited. I mean, I say that with, like, a pained face, but I am. I’m excited to see what the next chapter is,” he said.
When it comes to what he wants in a relationship, Craig is looking for someone to share life with. “It was really awesome dating such a career-driven person — and I love that and I respected my ex so much for that,” he said. But for his next chapter, he dreams of traveling with a future partner before settling down.
“I think I’m just gonna find the life that I enjoy living, and then hopefully someone walks into that. And I don’t think you can plan it. That’s the scary part. I don’t think you can plan it. I think you just gotta live,” he shared.
Though he wants kids someday, Craig isn’t rushing that either, as he admitted that he does not want to “date someone for a long time if they don’t want the same things.”
In his words: “…And if they do want kids, that’s great, but I’d love to travel the world with them for a little bit, and once we do all of the adventures ourselves, bring kids into that later on.”
Paige announced their split in December, later revealing they had actually broken up over Thanksgiving weekend. Craig admitted the breakup caught him off guard. “I didn’t think it was real,” he said on Watch What Happens Live. “We didn’t want different things, she just wanted other people.”
At the time, Craig had even been planning to move to New York to be with her. “We were planning our future together…” he said. But now, he’s embracing the unknown and waiting to see what — or who — comes next.
