Madonna’s Bleached Eyebrows Alarm Fans!
Madonna’s latest online post has been making waves on social media, but not for a good reason.
The singer posted a Tiktok video where she is seen rocking dark jeans, a lace corset, and braided hair while angrily lip-synching to the song Vent by rapper Baby Keem. Madonna also showed off her new hair color — red — in her braids.
But it was the 64-year-old singer’s bleached eyebrows that had her fans and followers shocked and concerned.
While the video has been taken down from Tiktok, it’s still up on the pop star’s Instagram.
The iconic pop star was unrecognizable in the viral video, with many of her followers comparing her to Marilyn Manson and even Chucky. The ongoing trend embraced by other social media influencers like Nicola Peltz and Kylie Jenner of bleaching eyebrows is not new, but most would claim this style is more for the younger generation.
Madonna has always been known to push boundaries and, over the years, has kept reinventing herself. However, her recent social media presence has left everyone baffled. The troubling posts of her wearing skimpy clothing and dancing and twerking in her underwear have sparked more concern. It was evident as her fans and followers were quick to leave comments on her latest Tiktok video.
One concerned fan questioned what was happening to Madonna and that she now looked for Marilyn Manson, while another one asked the Like a Virgin hitmaker to retire.
Fans expressed their disappointment, with one rather blunt follower commenting, “I’ve been a huge fan for most of my life, so it’s really sad (and disturbing) to watch the decline of Madonna. This might be funny for a kid’s tik tok, but c’mon?!” They went on to say, “I think you need to stop hanging out with kids and surround yourself with other true icons…so you can remember who you used to be and who you really are. A legend…not an idiotic try hard.”
Many also left comments about how disturbing Madonna’s recent posts were, and others were even doubtful whether it was Madonna herself acting out and uploading the photos and videos.
“You were my idol growing up. I used to love your music & creativity, please stop with these weird reels! it’s getting dark & concerning now,” one comment said.
Others who grew up with Madonna’s music were quick to agree and echoed the same sentiment that the Madonna they saw on social media was a far cry from the Queen of Pop they adored.
The comments further escalated into insulting her appearance and suggesting she stop with the botox and surgeries.
However, even though most of the online comments were hurtful and insulting, Madonna still has loyal fans who were quick to defend the American singer and Grammy winner.
One of the comments in support of Madonna said, “She continues to push boundaries and seems to value pulling people out of their comfort zones. That’s what makes her such an icon.”
