Will.i.am And Britney Spears For A Sensational Summer Collaboration

Will.i.am and Britney Spears are ready to bring some sizzling heat to this summer! On Monday, the Black Eyed Peas frontman revealed on Twitter that he and Britney Spears have joined forces on a new project.

In a short yet captivating 16-second video teaser, will.i.am made the surprise announcement, igniting curiosity and anticipation among fans. The video showcased a black background with white text flashing across, stating, “You are now now rockin’ with Will.i.am and Britney B—-,” while playing a snippet from their previous collaboration, Scream & Shout, from Will.i.am’s 2013 album, #willpower. 

Scream & Shout isn’t their first collaboration either as they previously worked together on the track Big Fat Bass for Britney’s album Femme Fatale in 2011. 

The teaser video concluded with the text “will.i.am x BRITNEY TOMORROW,” leaving fans eagerly awaiting their upcoming release.

Expressing his excitement, will.i.am took to Instagram as well, sharing the same video teaser with the caption, “Uh oh!!! This summer is about to be hot!!!” making it clear that he and his iconic colleague are determined to create something extraordinary for their fans.

This upcoming release follows Britney’s last collaboration with the legendary Elton John on the song Hold Me Closer in 2022. The track combined the beloved chorus of Elton John’s 1972 hit Tiny Dancer with fresh, dance-pop production, incorporating verses from his 1992 single The One. The result was a powerful and catchy tune that showcased Britney’s creativity and vision. 

Andrew Watt, the producer of Hold Me Closer, praised Britney’s dedication, sharing that she came up with her own ideas, even wanting to speed up the record. “She knew exactly what she wanted to do. She had spent tons of time with the record; she knew all the lyrics; it was like, her thing,” Andrew stated.

While fans eagerly anticipate the upcoming collaboration with Will.i.am, there’s another exciting development on the horizon. Britney Spears will soon release her memoir, titled The Woman in Me, which promises to shed light on “the enduring power of music and love — and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms,” as stated in a press release from Gallery Books. The memoir is described as a brave and incredibly moving account that delves into themes of “freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.”
