Madonna Regrets Both Marriages And Reveals More Shocking Truths
Madonna was all about addressing the 50 fan questions, as she didn’t hold anything back and told her truth, no matter how surprising or hurtful the answers were.
To promote her upcoming album, Madonna uploaded a video on her YouTube channel that had her answering questions from fans. These questions were about her forthcoming album, guilty pleasures, her successful career spanning forty years, and biggest regrets.
The Holiday singer was asked if she had made any decisions in the past that she now regrets. Surprisingly, she candidly answered that the decision to get married was not the best idea. It was not in reference to one of her marriages but two. Madonna was referring to her marriages with Sean Penn, whom she was married to from 1985 until 1989, and Guy Ritchie, whom she proudly called her husband from 2000 to 2008.
Many fans were shocked at her honesty and little to no regard for her past spouses. The singer shares two children with Carlos Leon, 22-year-old son Rocco, and 25-year-old Lourdes, who recently has been following her mother’s image with the photos she has been sharing on her social media account.
Madonna also has adopted children David and Mercy, who are both 16 years old, and 10-year-old twins Estere and Stelle.
Although it was not all new because the singer previously made comments, specifically in 2015, on how she felt incarcerated and unable to express herself as an artist while married to Ritchie.
Back then, she said that she wasn’t allowed to be herself and that she realized that “You’ve got to find someone who accepts who you are and is comfortable with that.”
Several years ago, Madonna commented that she would “rather be under the train than in front of the altar.”
And this is not the only surprising revelation that the 64-year-old Madonna made. During the interview, she also went on to say that sex is her current favorite obsession, and it is the one that keeps her going. And if she was not singing, she wanted to be a school teacher.
Madonna fans were startled by these truths. And when asked what continues to inspire her, especially now that the industry is so different from when she first started, the performer answered, “If you’re a curious person, and you’re paying attention to life, you’ll never stop being inspired.”
The interview also revealed that the seven-time Grammy winner also has her wishful thoughts, and one of these would be to collaborate with Kendrick Lamar. Her tell-all interview also has her sharing that the most challenging part of working on her upcoming biopic is cramming her life into a feature-length film, which is true because you can never get it all jam packed in a movie.
She also mentioned that she would love another opportunity to work with Britney Spears, whom she collaborated with 19 years ago, with their hit single, Me Against The Music. The two were seen rocking the video while wearing fishnet stockings and plunging mini dresses.
