Sarah Hyland And Well Adams Get Hitched!
A three-year engagement culminated into a happily ever after for Sarah Hyland, the Modern Family star, and TV and radio host Well Adams as they exchanged vows over the weekend in a gorgeous Californian vineyard.
The actress is best known for portraying the role of Haley Dunphy on the ABC hit series Modern Family. It appears that her wedding also served as a little reunion for her Modern Family co-stars, including Ariel Winter, Sofia Vergara, Nolan Gould, Julie Bowen, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson who officiated the wedding!
Co-star Sofia Vergara shared some snippets and snaps on Instagram, allowing exciting fans a glimpse into the wedding ceremony and party. Vergara brought her son Manolo Gonzales Vergara, 30, as her plus one to the much-anticipated wedding.
The blushing bride was a sight to behold in a stunning Vera Wang. She completed the look with an elegant low bun and understated makeup that highlighted her beauty.
As Hyland walked down the aisle with her father, Wells, understandably, was “weeping like a child.”
But, Hyland wasn’t done vowing everyone yet! After exchanging vows, the gorgeous bride changed into her second Vera Wang dress for the cocktail hour, looking just as breathtaking!
The two lovebirds got engaged during their 2019 Fiji getaway, and Sarah was beyond happy with the proposal. She uploaded a shot of that moment on her social media with the caption, “That can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff.”
The couple initially intended to get married in August 2020 but had to postpone their nuptials because of the COVID pandemic. Last year, Adams mentioned that he and his fiancée were looking to get married this year and that they’ll head to Vegas or the courthouse if any more pandemic-related concerns were to delay their wedding.
Well, 2022 is their year, all right! They were finally able to get together and say “I do” in front of their families and friends, not in Vegas or the courthouse.
Hyland had earlier said that she didn’t think there would be many changes during her married life. She further stated that both she and Adams are efficient and have a house together with their dogs, and they have been celebrating this journey together while supporting each other for the last five years.
The actress made sure she took the wedding process “one step at a time” and stated that getting married was exciting because she could now officially start their family. “It’s strange but cool to look down and see a ring on Wells’s finger,” said Hyland.
When asked if she would be adapting her husband’s last name, in an interview with E! News, Hyland mentioned her mother as an example who didn’t take her father’s last name.
“I do like being called ‘Mrs. Adams’ when we’re on vacation and stuff, and if the reservation’s under his name, I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I’m so cute.’ But I don’t know. Haven’t decided on it.”
The wedding weekend ended on a high note as Hyland, Adams, and their guests got together for a brunch. “It was a nice way to mark the end of the weekend — to relax and spend time with friends.”
