Their birthday escapade comes on the heels of their participation in Dry January, a personal challenge to abstain from alcohol at the start of the new year. Reflecting on their decision to make a lifestyle change, Robach and Holmes opened up about their alcohol intake and the positive impact of their newfound sobriety on their overall well-being.
“I am certainly somebody who right now and in years past needs to reexamine my relationship with alcohol, and that’s what we are doing,” T.J. said, as Amy mentioned that she used to consume over 30 drinks weekly.
“I could easily go through 18 drinks a day — 18 drinks a day,” T.J. further revealed, highlighting the extent of their previous habits before embracing a healthier lifestyle. Amy also confirmed that T.J.’s intake was “jawdropping and not possible.”
Since making the change, they both attest to feeling more energized and revitalized.
Their romantic relationship, which sparked dating rumors in late 2022, has been the subject of public interest, with fans curious about Amy’s marital status to actor Andrew Shue and T.J.’s relationship with attorney Marilee Fiebig.
Addressing the speculation on their podcast, Amy and T.J., the couple clarified that they were both in divorce proceedings with their respective spouses at the time.
