Avril Lavigne And Tyga Confirm Dating Rumors With A Kiss At Paris Fashion Week
Avril Lavigne and Tyga have seemingly confirmed their ongoing dating rumors with a kiss at the Paris Fashion Week this Monday, March 6.
The pair were spotted sharing a kiss at the Mugler x Hunter Schafer campaign party that was held at Pavillon Invalides. The confirmation of their relationship is coming only a week since they both linked up and only a few days after Avril supposedly blindsided and broke up with her fiancé, Mod Sun, following their only two years relationship.
At the party, Tyga, who wore a black tee, a gray shacket and matching pants, and Avril, dressed in an oversized hoodie and black over-the-knee boots, held hands as they conversed with other attendees. At some point during the event, the couple was seen engaging in PDA as Tyga leaned in to kiss the Complicated hitmaker. Later that night, the 38-year-old and 33-year-old were spotted leaving the event together.
Both parties were first spotted cuddling outside Los Angeles NOBU on February 19. That was only two days before Avril’s spokesperson confirmed to E! News that the singer and her fiancé had broken up.
Speaking to Page Six about the breakup, Mod’s representative confirmed it, saying, “They were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour, so if anything has changed, that’s news to him.”
Acknowledging the breakup in an Instagram post, the Karma singer wrote, “In 1 week my entire life completely changed…I just know there’s a plan for it all. I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken [inserts heartbroken emjoi] Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing. I have the best friends in the entire world, thanks for always having my back. See you on stage.”
On March 27, 2022, Mod and Avril got engaged after they first linked up in December 2020. Sharing details about her proposal with People, she told the outlet that the proposal “was the most perfect, romantic proposal I could ever ask for. We were in Paris on a boat in the Seine River.”
Tyga and Avril’s new romance is coming to fans as a surprise, given that both artists have never been associated as friends. Before the rapper’s current relationship with Avril, he was linked to TikTok star Bella Poarch. He has also dated famous women like Kylie Jenner and influencer and fashion designer Camaryn Swanson.
